Sports Action Cameras - we have increased our range with the addition of the GoPro HD HERO2. Taking on Contour's ContourGPS and Contour+, the GoPro HD HERO2 features 1080p HD video and 11 megapixel photos.

Happy New Year!  The Consumer Electronics Show is happening right now in Las Vegas and this year includes the Photo Marketing Association's own exhibition of photo/imaging products and services. The major camera manufacturers use one of these two events to launch new models each year and having both events running concurrently means everything is happening at once. The major announcements so far are the G1X from Canon, the X-Pro1 from Fujifilm and the Nikon D4.

December 6th

Had a great lighting workshop last night. We wandered down to Garden Place and it really came alive after sunset with the Christmas Tree and the little coloured fountains. Special thanks to Peter for running it and Sam (not Boswell)  for doing the hair/make-up on his lovely model and thanks to Reznyuk Maria for being such an obliging model. Thanks to all those who attended - we look forward to seeing your favourite pics from the evening!

Our new Photo Organising classes are up and running with the first series completed and the second starting today.  A "series" comprises one lesson on organising printed photos, slides and memorabilia and the second on organising digital images (it's not a photo until it's printed). Customers can attend one or the other but if doing both the printed class should be attended first. More info here...
